Here I am again...

Last week, I spent very short time at the computer.

I was really busy, drawing,  painting, printing, sewing, making lots of photos... 

I'll show you everything later.

I just wanted a quick stop here to post a little something.

( My daily blogging resolution already failed ! )

But, to be true, I feel a bit overwhelmed and I simply hesitate about what to show in my little space. well, no more confused ideas... I'll just post few pictures which make me smile today...

let's walk through home with my old camera and try some ttv pictures.

I still have to practice I guess, but I liked the mood of this series...

After a whole summer

Rambling mindlessly, wandering for small details along the streets,

Stopping by for coffee in cool places,

Searching for magic tips through inspiring and various artists...

(For example, I discovered Chagall as if it was the first time I were seeing his work although I wasn't really fond of his paintings...)

Doubting and doubting again about my eventual skill...

Each time I begin a new drawing I feel I could waste it totally and so easily.

Then at one point I feel I shouldn't add anything even if I'm still uncertain about the result.

It's such a fragile balance, that's what's makes it so exciting... As if, each time, it was my first time.

season's end postcard from Nice

After one first week back to work, trying on new prints... I will add some new things on my "temporary asleep" etsy shop.

 The week-end arrived and it's gone so fast.

It's always hard to me to leave my work space but I did have such a pleasant time with my family...

I moved here from Paris to south for one year, already, and I'm still amazed by the air sweetness of my birth town. I love to peek at the lively windows and  observing the moving light on the decayed colorful walls is an endless treat.

I'm enjoying september weekends better because the sun is still hot but cooler and the streets are less crowded now. 

Though there happened one terrible moment on this sunday...

I had to choose among an incredible amount of ice cream flavors, can you imagine the many temptations ?

Luckily I could taste my husband and children's ones

I tried myself the red pepper/vanilla, rather interesting experiment... nice rosy crunchy touch... I ate pepper for all the day long and I'm still tasting it now as I'm writing this !

small events

September brings with him new smells, rhythm and mood.

Birds are feeling it before we do, it was amazing how they were everywhere just before the rain.

It's time again for quick back-from-school-snacks before savoring playful moments.

We were lucky enough to receive some simple delights given by a kind gardener... Yay for the figs and... a delicious lemon tart.

I had a colorful and surprising visitor while I was closing the shutters, he stayed here for the whole night.

And then, a very naughty smoke cloud I've seen from my window which was disturbing its closer neighborhood and the birds too.

Oh, It's friday... already !

Hello, hello!

Once more I was away... way long from blogging.

Summer has been, so fast, flying by...

I'm eager to enter into the new season although it doesn't feel like fall here yet.

Time to start new projects.

I'm working on new prints and revamping my blog.
