on every wednesday children are at home

their homework finished, we have good time together...

It's amazing to see how endless is their imaginary world and how they feel totally free to create without any fear of failing. Though it's gently changing as they're growing older, my son is 12 and he is sometimes fighting against some representation's archetype.

Well I know this feeling too...

Anyhow, this shared sweet time is a pretty and inspiring thrill.

I'm still experimenting some needle works and I like to mix it with photo. This is a quick peek.

it was a bright and warm week-end

Golden leaves all around

Autumn colors catching up my eye everywhere I go.

It's still too hot here... but I won't complain

11 details... little things to tell about

1. for clothes, lately, my favorite shop is comptoir des cotonniers but I can't afford as much as I'd like to... kookai is fine too

2. I found some of my furnitures on the sidewalk, then painted them, which is the best thing, I love when old things are getting a new life... I like flea markets too or sometimes Ikea as everyone does but I don't have one close to my new home !

3. Sweet... Homemade chocolate truffles.

4. the first city which comes to my mind is Prague, I lived there for few years and It's in my heart with my friends out there. Then, of course Paris... But I left it one year ago to live at seaside at south of France, near Nice. It's a wonderful place.

5. our latest summer beverage was grapefruit sirup with rose wine, but I like rather red wine.

6. I can't stop listening at Cocorosie. then Rio el medio, Electrelane, The Organ always make me happy among so many others, I love to listen music as I work.

7. My all times favorite tv series is Twin Peaks.

8. Some movies I liked a lot... Time of the gypsies from Emir kusturica, Lost in translation, Hiroshima mon amour, Mulholland drive... and much others more...

9. workout. walking with beloved people... and with my camera.

10. pastries I like the best are homemade cakes.

11. and I'm ending this by coffee. I drink it all the day long, too much, and each week I say I will change this bad habit but I can't stop.

I painted a little gift on wood and matched some words to the picture, I like to look at it in the morning to decide if it should stay like that or needs some changes.

I had a perfect moment looking at an idyllic sky in my coffee pot... my morning beverage tasted even better.

the neighbor gave me some pretty plants he brought from the mountain, it smells good, it looks beautiful and I can even use it for cooking experiment... I have to try it !

In my mailbox, I found the wonderful calendar made by Camilla Engman.

I ordered it just few days ago and was happily surprised to receive it yet...

Celebrating

We had a busy and joyful time for Katia 9th birthday.

Lots of fun preparing some pretty cakes, drawing together, listening to music. Our trumpet-teacher-neighbor surprised us, she came home to play some music and let the girls try to blow... ahhhah

Before she went to bed, she said it was her best day ever, mine was very happy and cheerful too.
